Located outside Thurmont, Maryland, the original bridge
was built in 1856; however, it was damaged by an oversize truck in 2016. The
bridge was deconstructed, and it was determined that the timbers were insufficient
for reuse. Instead, a replica bridge built on the same parameters was erected
in 2017. The bridge crosses Roddy Creek approximately half a mile from US Route
15.
