Milk House Roastery (Marcellus, NY)

The proprietor described the confusion about where to enter, squeezing between two silos, as akin to going to a speakeasy. Milk House Roastery is a simply that, a roastery where fresh brewed coffee is available on the weekends - along with a few local items, such as honey and granola, available in the pantry. Located in rural Onondaga Country, this is one of those places where you have to want to find.

A bustling place to get coffee located across US 15 from the Susquehanna River in the small village of Liverpool, Pennsylvania. Once a general store (Shuler's Cash Store), today the coffee shop retains many of the great wood and brick features of the building as well as a great ambiance. We sampled the homemade apple cinnamon scone.

8 Jan - During the early morning, before 8am, there were a pair of red-bellied woodpecker, a pair of mockingbirds, and a pair of blue jays simultaneously in the backyard.
