“Activities of the Fishing Fleet” by Dennis Burlingame
(1939).
Two panels in the rather large post office in the middle
of the town depicting the hard work and toil of seafood industry. The painting
in the lobby has eight men taking a catch back to the ship. The oddly shaped
painting in the service area, one that wraps around a doorway, depicts two men tending
to nets on a dock.
